My siblings and I are looked upon as the oddballs. Our cousins stand tall, proud, and pearly white. We, on the other hand, take our time, accomplishing our goals in our own unique ways. Her heart lays broken
Shattered into thousands of pieces
Like a clay pot shoved to the floor.
I long to run far away;
Away from pain, hurt, rejection.
Running swift like a cheetah,
Away from the cold, dark, dry, barren desert.
