Tale of a Mighty Oak

The young oak stood strong, sturdy, and confident on the banks of a lively bubbling brook. A vibrant tree with lush deep green foliage and a deep strong healthy root system, she stood alone yet was never lonely. The brook was a merry little chap … always singing a lively happy tune as his waters danced along, heading toward their ocean adventures. The tree would nod her head to his lighthearted melodies as she contentedly listened to the praises he sang to his Creator.
Do you know my Lord?
His name is majestic
and fills the whole earth.
His glory fills the heavens!
His strength silences all opposition.
Since we are at the beginning of a new year, I thought that I would write a little bit about prayer journaling and share with you my word to live by in 2018. First I’d like to talk about prayer journaling. I’ve found it invaluable in my walk with the Lord. It has enriched and deepened my relationship with Him. I’d like to share what it looks like in my life.

To be perfectly honest, I didn’t want either Hillary or Trump to win this election. When I vote for a candidate I do my own research. I look into their past and what they stood for before they start running. How they lived their lives in and out of public light morally and ethically. I don’t vote for a specific party.
