Who am I?

I’m a daughter
a sister
a mother
a wife

a teacher
a gardener
a reader
a lover of life

a baker
a listener
a poet
a friend

a writer
a cook
a chauffeur
and a worshiper of Him.

I am a stay at home homeschooling mom.   We live in Lancaster County, PA.  I enjoy reading, writing, gardening, cooking,  and spending time with my family.  Writing serves several purposes in my life.  It’s an act of worship to my Lord, it relaxes me, and it is therapeutic.  I hope that reading what I’ve written blesses the reader as much as writing has blessed me. ❤

    • Thank you for your thoughtfulness and your kindness, kiwinana. I have decided to keep my blog award free but I do appreciate your thinking of me. 🙂

  3. Sue, I need to thank you so much, I just spotted my blog on your blog roll! You are so kind, I was looking at the front end of my blog the other day and see where I need update my blog roll. Some are old, some defunct now. In the past couple of years I have found so many or they have found me (like you) that I need to go in and update those parts of my blog. (this is what happens when you are on the dashboard) most of the time. I could not find an email on your site for you. Feel free to delete this comment.
I take you are from the valley here? from what you have said to me. I found quite a few people lately from across the US that have family ties especially with Pleasant View Old Order church and the other Old Order churches, I have pictures to make posts about Oak Grove and Riverdale Old Order churches as well. It is always nice seeing you in my inbox Sue! 🙂

    • Thank you! Yes, I grew up in Dayton, VA. My husband’s IT job brought us to PA but we get to VA pretty often to visit family. The Shenandoah Valley is still home in my heart. 😉 Thanks so much for your visit and kind words. I didn’t think about having a place to email me on my blog. Thanks for pointing that out. I should look into that.
