Morning Light

Bursting through the cold heartless darkness
A yellow ray of hope shines down
Penetrating the dark shroud
Bringing a spark of warmth
Thawing the anger
Healing the pain
Sowing peace –

“…because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” Luke 1:78-79

  1. Reblogged this on Sue's Nook and commented:

I wrote this in June and thought that I should reshare it today. Let’s show love, respect, kindness, and honor to each other. In the midst of darkness there is always a candle of hope flickering and burning.

  2. “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
I wish all Christians, or those who call themselves Christians would strive for this rather than live in strife with others
Your post went right along with my thoughts today.
