Drought then Rain (Lanturne)

drought
sun’s heat
bringing death
suffocating
life

rain
cleansing
the parched earth
washing away
death

      • They hope to get it under control this weekend. So far it has burned around 8,000 acres. They did appreciate the rain, but it was not really enough, but better than high dry winds. Fire fighters are now putting out hot spots where they have pretty much gotten the fire put out, so they don’t flare up again.
