Spring Stroll (Tritina Poem)

Susan's Pictures 2015 and 2016 1030

Walking through the green meadow
The warm sun has chased away the morning frost
The early spring scene — my morning feast

Horses out enjoying their early spring feast
Conestoga Creek dancing through the meadow
Green grass whispering farewell to Jack Frost

Looking for any remaining signs of frost,
My gaze moves to a king fisher enjoying his fish feast
Winter is gone—spring has returned to the meadow

The green frost-less meadow is a feast for my eyes
